Test Instrument Solutions attended the CEF Live 2025 event in June and can confidently claim it to be our most successful and rewarding exhibition to date. The bi-annual trade show at the prestigious Birmingham NEC, is the largest dedicated event of the electrical industry calendar and featured a whole host of the biggest names in the industry. As in previous years, we manned the Test Instrument Solutions stand with a range of experts and were able to connect with more of our customers than ever.
Over the two days – June 5th and 6th – we were able to demonstrate our products and expend our knowledge to over 11,000
visitors - and for the record visitor levels came an unprecedented number of new and innovative Test Instrument Solutions products. We showcased the full range of products from voltage detectors and solar PV testing equipment to our award-winning multi-function testers and environmental testing instruments.
As an added bonus, the TIS team were also joined on our stand by our friends from Knipex, demonstrating their full range electrical industry and associated hand tools.
How we showed our expertise at CEF Live
With a series of talks, demonstrations, training opportunities and expert insights we were able to directly connect with our customer base and ensure they received the full extent of our product knowledge. On the busy event floor we still had ample room to demonstrate why Test Instrument Solutions lead the way in the innovation of new, accurate and reliable test instruments.
During the two day event we were also able to direct lots of business for new and existing products to CEF branches. CEF are one of the main stockists of TIS products in the UK and are backed up by a massive amount of their own knowledge and expertise, and at TIS, we know our product stock and distribution is in great hands with CEF.
Our stand at CEF Live was also shared with KNIPEX, the industry leaders and specialists who supply a premium quality range of wire cutters, pliers and crimping tools, both individually and in comprehensive sets. Alongside KNIPEX we were able to answer questions, offer advice and guidance and point our customers towards a great range of test equipment and hand tool solutions at competitive prices. The new Knipex ErgoStrip PV cable stripping tool sold out of stock on day one, along with other Solar PV associated products creating quite a stir!
All in all we had a great time at CEF LIVE 2025. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our customer base, to spread our expertise, but also to listen to feedback on how and where our products are used, along with how and where we can make changes and improvements too.

We are already looking forward to the next CEF Live event, and we hope to see even more of our customers then. We have been attending live show events since being established in 2005, and while we have always been able to enjoy these events, offer valuable advice and win new custom through product demonstrations, we truly felt the CEF Live 2025 event was unsurpassed in terms of how we were able to really demonstrate our trust, reliability and expertise in the industry to so many people.
